Safety & Preparation

A good session starts with the information that helps you and the practitioner make a safe decision. When in doubt, ask before you arrive.

A calm yoga practice at Kintsugi Wellness

This checklist is general education, not medical clearance. Follow the preparation instructions for the specific service and the advice of your health professional.

Tell Kintsugi before booking

Share pregnancy, implanted or electronic medical devices, recent procedures, current injuries, significant medical conditions, and anything else the service page asks about.

Ask a health professional first

Get individualized guidance when symptoms are new, severe, unexplained, or ongoing, or when you are considering a wellness service alongside medical treatment. Do not delay conventional care.

During the session

Tell the practitioner if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, distress, unusual heat, numbness, or another unexpected response. You can ask to pause or stop.

After the session

Follow the service-specific aftercare instructions. Seek appropriate medical help for severe or concerning symptoms rather than relying on a wellness session to evaluate them.
